The Controller and Accountant General’s Department has formally announced the date for salary payments in December 2024.

Employees in the public sector, such as government servants and Ghana Education Service (GES) instructors, as well as those in the Ghana Health Service, can expect to be paid on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

Many employees are relieved by this timely notification as the holiday season approaches, knowing that their financial requirements will be met.

For many families, December is a critical month due to the increased costs involved with travel, gift-giving, and holiday parties.

The December salary is very important for Ghanaian state personnel while scheduling these activities.

Giving workers advance notice of the payment date allows them to avoid the stress of last-minute uncertainty and make the required financial arrangements.

The CAGD is known for paying salaries on time, and the December 2024 schedule is no exception. Workers will be paid on December 19, giving the government plenty of time to prepare for the end-of-year celebrations.

Because of its consistent efforts to develop trust among Ghana’s workforce, the department has established itself as a reliable financial planning partner.
