Debibi United has thrashed Legon Cities to maintain top spot in Zone One B

Struggling Berekum Arsenal secured their second win of the season with a commanding 3–1 victory over K.A.C. Soccer Academy at the Golden City Park, ending their four-game winless streak.

Kwasi Fosu delivered two crucial goals in the 39th and 45th minutes, giving the hosts a comfortable lead at halftime.

After the break, Stephen Korankye pulled one back for K.A.C. Soccer Academy in the 49th minute, but Gyan Gideon restored Berekum Arsenal’s two-goal cushion in the 62nd minute.

Real Tamale United remained unbeaten for the seventh consecutive match after a 1–1 draw away to Yapei FC at the Jinapor Stadium, despite being reduced to 10 men.

Jonas Wisdom Manyina broke the deadlock for RTU in the 80th minute. However, an own goal by Yakeen Nurideen in stoppage time earned Yapei FC a dramatic equaliser.

The former Premier League side currently sits second in the Zone One A league table with 15 points from seven matches.

Zone One B leaders Debibi United came from behind to secure their sixth consecutive win of the season with a 2–1 victory over bottom-placed Legon Cities.

Their six-game winning streak is the longest across all zones. Lautaro Maradona opened the scoring for Legon Cities just two minutes after the restart, but Asamoah Eugene pulled the hosts level with a brilliant finish in the 65th minute.

Kwadwo Antwi then scored a stunning stoppage-time winner to complete the comeback and seal all three points for Debibi United.

Debibi United have now accumulated an impressive 19 points from seven league games this season.
