Among the thousands of dignitaries who have arrived so far for John Dramani Mahama’s swearing-in ceremony, a notable delegation from Nigeria was spotted, including the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, famously known as ‘The Dancing Politician’ and Davido’s uncle.

In videos shared by Ovation Media CEO Dele Momodu, the Senator and his team were seen arriving in the early hours of January 7, first at the airport and later at the event venue.

Also present for today’s presidential inauguration is the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the influential monarch of the Yoruba people in Nigeria.

In addition to these prominent Nigerian figures, other distinguished guests have arrived, including Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former President Goodluck Jonathan, and many others.

The presence of these key dignitaries has somewhat highlighted the international importance of Mahama’s inauguration and the strong ties between Ghana and Nigeria.
