Davido scolds fan for bringing baby to concert

Nigerian musician Davido has scolded a fan for bringing a baby to one of his concerts, calling the act irresponsible and dangerous.

The incident happened during an outdoor performance where Davido was on stage performing the hit song Ogechi, which features BoyPee, Brown Joel, and Hyce.

While entertaining the crowd, Davido spotted a fan holding a baby in the large crowd.

Davido, upset by what he saw, paused his performance and called out the fan.

The Nigerian singer questioned the fan for bringing a baby to the concert, asking if the person was crazy and labelled the fan as wicked for exposing the child to such a crowded environment.

“Who is carrying a baby? Are you crazy? Take your baby away. You are a wicked person,” he said.

His reaction was caught on video and has since gone viral on social media, sparking a range of comments.

Many users have shown support for Davido’s outburst, agreeing that bringing a baby to such a crowded environment was highly unsafe.

One user commented, “Why would a person bring a baby to this kind of place? Women with wahala.”

Another questioned how security or event protocol allowed it in the first place, writing, “Why did they allow the person bring a baby in? Misplaced priorities.”

Others also backed Davido’s reaction, saying it was necessary.

“Common sense should’ve told them a concert environment isn’t safe for a baby. Davido had every right to speak up,” one comment read.
