Ghana international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has expressed his strong desire to feature at the upcoming FIFA World Cup, describing it as a key personal goal as he works towards full fitness.

The attacking midfielder admitted he is in a race against time but remains optimistic about his chances of recovery. Kyereh revealed he is targeting a return to competitive action in the coming weeks, with the aim of playing at least one or two full matches before the tournament begins.

Despite his ambition, the former SC Freiburg player stressed he does not want to be included in the squad unless he can make a meaningful impact. He noted that simply being part of the tournament without contributing would not satisfy him.

Kyereh added that selection ultimately rests with the technical team, insisting he will focus on regaining peak condition and leave the final decision to the coaches.
