Dancegod Lloyd has opened up about his current relationship him and Ghanaian rapper Showboy, stating that although they had some issues in the past, they have now resolved all their differences.
Speaking on Hitz FM, the dancer explained that he and Showboy had been very close friends back in school (PRESEC), adding that they grew even closer after school, which eventually led the rapper to sign him to his label.

Dancegod added that when he signed on to Showboy’s label, the opportunity propelled him to a larger following on the internet.
However, while he was building a brand for himself, certain decisions he made did not sit well with the rapper, which eventually created distance between them.
“We went to the same school we were super close until he wanted to sign me on his label. When I met him he put me on, I was building myself but it wasn’t moving fast so when he put me on I had a few more people following me on social media but then he didn’t like the way I moved so we stopped talking for a while” he explained
Dancegod Lloyd, whose real name is Laud Anoo Konadu, continued that the two of them became friends again but their relationship wasn’t as it used to be.
“When we came back, he moved funny and I didn’t really like it,” he added.
He further added that the two of them met in Tamale, where they had a very productive conversation, resolved their differences, and are currently on good terms.

He expressed his admiration and gratitude to the rapper.
“When we met in Temale we had a very good conversation, we bonded beautifully and when we returned to Accra we hanged out. I like him, he’s a very positive person but I feel like the negativity around him is too much. I know him and we are super close now, he’s a real one and I appreciate him. Much love,” he said.
