    Legendary Ghanaian musician Daddy Lumba’s one-week observation is ongoing at Independence Square on August 30, 2025.

    The event brings together prominent individuals from across the country to honor the late musician, who enjoyed a thriving career during his era.

    Fans, colleagues, politicians, industry stakeholders, and other dignitaries are expected to attend and show their support to the bereaved artist’s family.

    Daddy Lumba, widely regarded as one of Ghana’s greatest musicians and the producer of timeless hits such as ‘Aben Wo Ha’ and Theresa, passed away following an illness.

    The schedule for the final funeral rites will be announced to the public before the artist is laid to rest.
