A relative of the late Ghanaian highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has refuted claims suggesting that controversial media personality Afia Schwarzenegger is related to their family.

The rebuttal was made during the family’s visit to Otumfuo’s Saamanhene Palace in Kumasi as part of the ongoing traditional proceedings following the musician’s passing.

In a video shared on TikTok by user @khalifacreed, a visibly displeased uncle of the late musician was asked by a journalist whether Afia Schwarzenegger was indeed his niece.

Responding with a stern expression, he firmly denied any family connection between the comedienne and Daddy Lumba’s lineage.

“Afia Schwarzenegger is not from our family; she is from Adwatia, and we are from Parkoso,” he stated. “Daddy Lumba is not her uncle, and we don’t know her.”

The uncle went further to challenge the interviewer, asking whether Afia Schwarzenegger bore any resemblance to the family members who had gathered at the palace.
