Although it has been almost a month since the passing of Ghanaian Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, news surrounding his death and legacy shows no signs of fading anytime soon.

The leader of the Ajagurajah Movement, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, has now joined the conversation.

He has made a bold statement regarding the constant visits to Lumba’s home after a book of condolence was opened.

    Daddy Lumba is dead

In a live TikTok session on August 22, 2025, Ajagurajah claimed that the soul of the late ‘Makra Mo’ singer is unhappy with how Ghanaians, especially bloggers, invaded his home following his death.

According to Ajagurajah, while Daddy Lumba was alive, he rarely allowed people into his residence. Therefore, the family made a mistake by allowing sympathisers from all walks of life troop into his residence after his demise.

When Daddy Lumba was alive, one could follow him around and still not gain entry into his house. But after his death, they opened the door for both friends and even enemies to enter; that is why his soul isn’t at peace,” he said.

Ajagurajah also issued a warning to the family of the late Daddy Lumba.

According to him, if care isn’t taken, the spirit of the late musician could bring more harm to them.

“The family needs to be very careful. If they are not careful, the spirit of Lumba will cause harm to them. When they allowed people to enter his home, they could have observed some traditions in the house afterward.
