No record of a will for the late Highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has been found at the Probate and Administration Division of the High Court of Justice in Accra, according to a report by GhanaWeekend.

This follows an official search conducted at the registry as part of legal processes to manage his estate.

The search, which was conducted by undisclosed persons and bore the logo of Maame Tiwa, a key member of Team Legal Wives, was to verify whether the late musician had lodged a will with the court and, if so, to determine when it was filed, who submitted it, and which lawyer handled it.

However, the registry’s response, dated January 19, 2026, indicated that no such record exists.

The document, signed and stamped by the Registrar of the Probate and Administration Division, confirmed that the court has not recorded a will from the late Daddy Lumba.

Meanwhile, Akosua Serwaa, widow of the late singer, has applied to the Kumasi High Court for letters of administration to manage and distribute Daddy Lumba’s properties.

Her application has been challenged by Odo Broni, who has filed a caveat arguing that Akosua Serwaa cannot present herself as the sole surviving spouse and therefore lacks the capacity to apply alone.

The caveat asserts that the existence of another recognised spouse invalidates any unilateral attempt to take control of the estate.

The objection temporarily halts Serwaa’s application until the court determines issues around capacity and entitlement.
