Cristiano Ronaldo has arrived in Lagos, Portugal, with his Al-Nassr teammates as the Saudi Arabian club intensifies preparations ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The Portuguese city becomes the team’s new training base following a stint in Lisbon, where Al-Nassr held the first phase of their pre-season.
The switch to Lagos signals the beginning of a new stage in their buildup, with more rigorous sessions expected in the days ahead.
Ronaldo, returning to familiar surroundings in his home country, was joined by the full Al-Nassr squad, including recent signing João Félix, as they touched down on Monday.
The move was confirmed by the club’s social media team, who posted:
“Lisbon chapter closed. Lagos chapter loading.”
So far, Al-Nassr’s pre-season has been productive. They recently secured a 2-1 win over Toulouse in a friendly, with Ronaldo getting on the scoresheet, showing early signs of form.
With their Saudi Super Cup clash against rivals Al-Ittihad on the horizon, the team is expected to ramp up preparations in Lagos before returning to the Middle East.
