Thomas Partey's trial has been scheduled for November 2026 Thomas Partey’s trial has been scheduled for November 2026

Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey has pleaded not guilty to five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault during a hearing at Southwark Crown Court on September 17, 2025.

According to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in the UK, the former Arsenal star’s trial has been scheduled for November 2, 2026.

This means the Villarreal player will be eligible to play football and go about his daily routine while investigations into the case continue.

Partey’s lawyer, Jenny Wiltshire, has reiterated that the midfielder is innocent and will continue to fight legally until he is cleared, saying “He denies all the charges against him and welcomes the opportunity to finally clear his name.”

The 32-year-old was charged in August 2025 with five counts of rape against two women and one count of sexual assault against a third woman.

Here is why Villarreal signed Thomas Partey despite fan protests

The alleged offences are said to have taken place between 2021 and 2022, when he was an Arsenal player.

Thomas Partey has already pleaded not guilty to all the charges and is fighting to clear his name in the Southwark Crown Court.

The midfielder featured in Villarreal’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
