The Adenta Circuit Court has adjourned the ongoing legal proceedings involving Ghanaian musician and socialite, Showboy, after he arrived late for his scheduled hearing on February 12, 2026.
According to a post by GHOne TV online, the court also ordered that the musician be remanded in custody for an additional two weeks as investigations continue.
Showboy’s latest appearance follows his arrest in connection with alleged blackmail and defamatory conduct directed at entrepreneur and music executive Davido GH (David Mensah).
The case stems from claims that Showboy threatened to release some sensitive information about Davido GH unless certain demands are met.

The situation escalated sometime in January 2026, when CID officers attempted to arrest Showboy at his residence, an encounter that widely circulated online.
In videos from the standoff, Showboy questioned the legality of the arrest and demanded to see a warrant before complying.
