The Adabraka District Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of another suspect allegedly linked to the murder of Immigration Officer, Stephen King Amoah.

According to a 3news.com report on October 23, 2025, the prosecution, led by Chief Inspector Achaana, requested the warrant during proceedings on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, after informing the court that investigators had traced the suspect, identified only as Kumi.

Chief Inspector Achaana told the court that the prosecution was still awaiting the completion of the docket for submission to the Attorney-General’s Department.

“We have made significant progress in our investigations and are closing in on all individuals connected to this case. Justice will be pursued to its logical conclusion, and no one found culpable will be spared,” the report said.

The court adjourned the matter to November 4, 2025.

Stephen King Amoah, 38, was reported missing on July 4, 2025, after leaving home to meet a friend over an outstanding debt. His partially burnt body was discovered five days later, on July 9, at Abuom Junction near Kwabenya, prompting an intensive police investigation.

The first accused, Bright Aweh, identified as a friend of the deceased, was arrested as the prime suspect. Police investigations revealed that Amoah had gone to collect a GH₵200,000 debt from Aweh, who allegedly gave conflicting statements during questioning and was subsequently charged with murder.
