The General Overseer of Believers Worship Center, Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, has applauded the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Legal Rise Sport, Sharaf Mahama, for his efforts in elevating Ghana’s boxing scene.

In a video shared on social media on June 22, 2025, Adom Kyei-Duah, while preaching to his congregation, encouraged Sharaf Mahama to continue promoting Ghanaian boxing.

“I pray for Sharaf Mahama, and I also plead with him to continue his good work. He should keep promoting boxing activities in the country. Heaven is behind him, so he shouldn’t give up. May the Lord richly bless him,” he said.

Addressing the recent controversy surrounding Ghanaian boxer Joseph Sackey, who was defeated at the just-ended Battle of the Beast competition despite wearing the prophet’s sticker, Adom Kyei-Duah urged him to ignore the criticism.

According to Adom Kyei-Duah, the boxer should remain confident in his abilities, adding that he is willing to serve as a mentor to Joseph Sackey.

“I want you to be like me. I am someone with self-confidence, and I fear no one. I trust and believe in God. From now on, call me your father… and from this day forward, call yourself a son of grace,” he added.
