    Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has urged Nigerians to check the validity of election-related information before sharing it online.

    Taking to the microblogging platform, Twitter, the movie director claimed that many people shared on social media without checking the information’s authenticity or source, particularly during election seasons.

    According to Yul Edochie, a lot of false information was spread online because people stayed at home and created stories to share online.

    Ahead of the governorship polls, he has cautioned Nigerians to refrain from such actions.

    He tweeted;

    “Any information you see about the election, pls confirm the authenticity before you post or repost. So much fake news flying around. Some people sit in their homes, create stuff & post it as news. Such could set our country ablaze. Pls, verify before posting or reposting.”

    In other news, crossdresser, James Chukwueze Obialor, popularly known as James Brown, recently created a scene in Asaba, Delta State, after a man damaged his phone.

    In a video the internet sensation shared on his social media pages, a man approached James, who was in the company of some other people, and asked to do a stunt with his phone.

    James Brown agreed and handed his phone to the man; unfortunately, things didn’t go well, as the phone got severely damaged.

    Enraged by this, the self-styled Male Barbie pursued the man who attempted to flee the scene.

    Ignoring his celebrity status, James gave the man a hot chase on the streets of Asaba, demanding that he pay for the damage.
