    The Coordinating Director of the Public Affairs Subdivision of Parliament, Madam Kate Addo, has emphasised the critical role of effective communication in advancing good governance.

    Delivering a presentation on Communication and Interpersonal Skills at the 2025 Parliamentary Service Graduate Training Programme, Madam Addo highlighted the importance of clarity and precision in both verbal and written exchanges across all levels of engagement.

    She urged employees to remain professional and neutral when addressing sensitive work-related matters, stressing that communication should foster trust and understanding rather than division.

    “Effective communication is not just a skill but a vehicle for promoting trust, transparency and accountability in governance,” Madam Addo stated.

    “Communication is the lifeblood of democracy,” she added.
