Today, COMBATE GLOBAL announced that, for the first time in history, the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) franchise will stream live with English language commentary on its YouTube channel with the ‘Mexico vs. USA’ showdown on Saturday, April 11 at EstrellaTV’s studios in Burbank.
The live COMBATE GLOBAL television show featuring a minimum of four bouts begins at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
Historically, COMBATE GLOBAL has streamed content with all Spanish commentary on its YouTube channel.
MMA experts and popular social media figures Ben “The Bane” Davis and Alex Wendling will call the action live in English and be joined on the air by undefeated COMBATE GLOBAL welterweight phenom, Jaden Ortega.
The Saturday night English distribution experiment represents a data-driven decision by the company, which has witnessed worldwide Spanish-speaking audiences, ages 18 and under, adopt English language content on YouTube at an increasing rate. In addition, 75 percent of Hispanic people in the U.S. speak English proficiently, further validating this decision.
COMBATE GLOBAL CEO Campbell McLaren commented, “At COMBATE GLOBAL, we have found that culture matters more than language. We are the salsa of MMA, and everyone loves salsa!”

The “COMBATE GLOBAL: Mexico vs. USA” fight card also marks the promotion’s 2026 debut on a Saturday night, with all remaining 18 live events in 2026 taking place on Saturdays.
In addition to the live worldwide stream on YouTube, the event will air live in English in the U.S. on Samsung TV Plus.
The show airs live in Spanish in the U.S. on EstrellaTV, as well as on Samsung TV Plus (COMBATE GLOBAL has both an English-language channel and a Spanish-language channel on Samsung TV Plus), and live in Mexico on Samsung TV Plus.
In the previously announced COMBATE GLOBAL bantamweight (135 pounds) main event, Gianni “Kriptonita” Vazquez (13-5-1) of Mexico City, Mexico via Irvine, Calif., will square off with American star, Alvin “The Anvil” Welch (6-1) of Spokane, Wash.
Priced from $30, tickets for the COMBATE GLOBAL event on April 11 are on sale at Ticketon.com.
Additional information about COMBATE GLOBAL and its athletes can be found on www.CombateGlobal.com as well as on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
