In a heartwarming twist of events, Coach Sabato, the dedicated head coach of the Ashaiman-based Future Leaders Football Club, is finally on his way to becoming a licensed professional coach, thanks to a bold plea and the right ears listening.

During a recent donation exercise led by Mavis Amanor Avornyo, popularly known as Fire Lady the executive producer of Asempa FM’s “Ultimate Sports Morning Show” Coach Sabato passionately appealed to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to help him acquire a professional coaching license.

The donation was part of Fire Lady’s birthday celebration and aimed at supporting the efforts of grassroots football development in Ashaiman.

In the midst of the ceremony, Coach Sabato took the opportunity to express his desire for growth and improvement, emphasizing that a formal coaching education would help him better develop the many young talents under his watch at Future Leaders FC.

Following the event and his emotional appeal, the GFA has granted Coach Sabato the opportunity to begin his License C Coaching Course as well as a Talent Discovery License program. This is a significant leap forward for the coach who has been developing young footballers with minimal resources but maximum passion.

An overjoyed Coach Sabato revealed, this opportunity means everything to him and to the boys he train. Now, I can refine my skills and give them the best. I thank Fire Lady for not only her donation but for creating the platform that changed my life.

Fire Lady, known for her vocal advocacy for grassroots sports and youth development, continues to use her platform to uplift unsung heroes in the world of sports.

Her influence and action have once again proven that investing in community sports is an investment in national talent.

With his license journey underway, Coach Sabato is poised to become not just a better coach, but a beacon of hope and transformation for the next generation of footballers rising from the streets of Ashaiman.
