Black Stars coach Otto Addo has paid visits to Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and his fit-again teammate Jordan Ayew during a stop in the East Midlands.

Fatawu Issahaku is currently undergoing rehabilitation after suffering a serious knee injury that has sidelined him for the remainder of the season. The injury will also rule him out of Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar in March next year.

Meanwhile, Jordan Ayew has returned to full fitness and rejoined Leicester City after recovering from an injury sustained during Ghana’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola on November 16, 2024.

Addo’s visit underscores his commitment to supporting both recovering and active national team players as they navigate their respective journeys.
