US-based Ghanaian sprinter Prince Maubrey has praised Ghanaian athletics coach Amuzu Logosu, calling him the best in the field.
Maubrey explained that Amuzu serves as his local coach, and he trains with him whenever he visits Ghana.
Speaking on GhanaWeb Sports Check with Frank-Kamal Acheampong, Maubrey revealed that Amuzu has been his trainer for 11 years.
“He is my coach, and we always keep in touch even while I’m in the States. He has been my coach since I first came in 2014,” he said.
“He is an amazing coach. I have trained with coaches all over the world, and you can tell when a coach lacks knowledge about the sport. He is very knowledgeable. I learn from my coach in the US, and I also learn from Amuzu here,” he added.
Amuzu Logosu is a renowned Ghanaian athletics coach known for developing top talents in the sport.
Among his notable trainees is Benjamin Azamati, Ghana’s fastest sprinter, whom he coached from his college days.
