    CILT Ghana congratulates President-Elect John Dramani Mahama

    The Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Ghana has congratulated President-Elect John Dramani Mahama and Vice President-Elect Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang following their historic victory in the December 7 elections.

    In a statement released on Monday, December 23, 2024, the President of CILT Ghana, Engr. Mark A. Amoamah, noted that the victory of the NDC and the peaceful nature of the elections are yet another manifestation of Ghana’s maturing democracy.

    He stated that Ghanaians demonstrated a strong commitment to democratic principles with the peace and stability exhibited in the December 7 elections.

    “The Governing Council and entire membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Ghana extend our warmest congratulations to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President-Elect, and Her Excellency Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Vice President-Elect, on their historic election victory.

    “Your victory stands as another testimony to Ghana’s proud tradition of reverence for democratic processes and peaceful transitions. Ghana has once again made Africa proud and a beacon of hope by showing maturity in democracy.”

    Engr. Mark A. Amoamah stated that they remain committed to supporting initiatives and directions that promote professionalism and excellence in the development of the logistics, transport, and supply chain industry.

    He assured CILT-Ghana’s resolve to work diligently with the government to develop the country.

    “As you prepare to take office on the 7th of January, 2025, we would like to emphasize the significant role that logistics, transport, and supply chain play in the socio-economic development of our nation. We are confident that with your leadership and commitment to sustainable development, the transport and logistics infrastructure of our country will achieve the desired remarkable growth and transformation. CILT Ghana pledges its collaboration to achieve this objective,” he said.
