    A woman was disappointed after the jollof rice she prepared at her in-law’s house on Christmas day turned soggy, leaving leftovers.

    As seen in the woman, the family couldn’t eat the meal due to its texture, therefore multiple plates of leftover jollof rice were left resting on the kitchen sink.

    The woman @kwinteefah93 shared on TikTok that the rice was too big for the pot, making it difficult to stir and, regrettably, soggy.

    Overwhelmed by emotions, she expressed that her efforts proved all for naught, with the caption;

    “Nothing pain more than Christmas jollof rice that went wrong and know one could eat it 🥹😭, I’m pained right now. The rice was more than the pot so it’s was very hard to turn”.

    TikTok users have flocked to the comment section, sharing similar experiences at the in-law’s house during the festive season.

    Some conjectured that the type of rice grain interfered with the cooking process, while others proposed that the woman chose to prepare for a large family despite having poor culinary skills.
