Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández is reportedly trying to rekindle his relationship with Valentina Cervantes following allegations that an Argentina teammate attempted to seduce her.

The pair recently fueled reunion rumors after being spotted together in London, months after their split.

Journalist Daniel Fava revealed that Fernández’s reconciliation with his ex-partner comes amid claims that a teammate from Argentina’s World Cup-winning squad made a move on her.

“In the last few hours, there has been a reconciliation with his ex-partner Valentina Cervantes. They’re giving things another go,” Fava reported.

“The information I have is that Enzo Fernández is desperately trying to win her back because he’s heard that a fellow world champion is sniffing around her.”

However, the Argentine journalist declined to reveal the identity of the player allegedly involved, leaving the mystery unresolved.

Meanwhile, Fernández has been enjoying a resurgence this season, already surpassing his goal contribution tally in the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign.

He has solidified his place as a key figure in Chelsea’s squad, attracting interest from European giants Real Madrid.

According to South American outlet Sports, Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a major push to sign the Argentine midfielder.
