The 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) took center stage at the Grand Arena in Accra on May 11, celebrating the biggest names and rising stars in Ghanaian music. The highly anticipated ceremony, organized by Charterhouse and headlined by Telecel Ghana, was a night of glamour, show-stopping performances, and well-deserved recognition.
Hosted by the elegant Naa Ashorkor, with support from AJ Akuoko Sarpong and comedian Foster Romanus, the event brought together a vibrant mix of entertainers and music lovers.

The night featured memorable performances from some of Ghana’s finest, including King Promise, King Paluta, Kweku Smoke, Stonebwoy, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Empress Gifty, TiTi Owusu, Fameye, Beeztrap KOTM, KiDi, Moliy, Ayisi, and Unsung Artist winner Yaw Darling.
The ceremony recognized excellence across a wide range of music genres, with King Promise emerging as the night’s biggest winner.
He took home multiple awards including Artiste of the Year, Album/EP of the Year (Truth to Self), Afropop Song of the Year (Paris), and Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year.
Other major winners included Stonebwoy, who clinched Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste and Best Reggae/Dancehall Song (Psalm 23), Kweku Smoke, who won Best Hiplife/Hip-Hop Artiste and Best Rap Performance, and Joe Mettle, awarded Best Gospel Artiste and Best Male Vocal Performance.
