    The organizers of the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), Charterhouse, have officially begun announcing nominees for the 26th edition of the awards scheme.

    The announcement is being done in phases, with several key categories already revealed, including Best Afrobeats/Afropop Song and Best Highlife Artist.

    This year’s competition is intense, with some of Ghana’s top musicians securing multiple nominations, making the race for the ultimate awards highly competitive.

    So far, Charterhouse has released nominees for the Best HipHop Song, Best Afrobeat Song, Best Hiplife Song, Best Highlife Song, Best Urban Contemporary Gospel Song, Best Reggae/Dancehall Song, Best Music Video, Best Male Vocal Performance, and Best Female Vocal Performance.

    With each category announcement, anticipation continues to grow as fans eagerly wait to see if their favorite artists have made the cut.

    To keep up with all the updates, music lovers can follow our live coverage of the TGMA Nominees Announcement, ensuring they don’t miss any major revelations.

    Beyond the nominees, Charterhouse has also mapped out an exciting calendar of activities leading up to the main event.

    The awards season has kicked off with the Nominees Announcement today , March 15, 2025.

    This will be followed by the Experience Concert on Saturday, April 5, and the TGMA Master Class on Thursday, May 1.

    Fans can expect a thrilling TGMA Pre-party on Friday, May 2, leading to the main TGMA Awards Night on Saturday, May 3.

    After the awards, the celebration will continue with Nite with AOTY (Artiste of the Year) on Saturday, May 31, and will wrap up with the Music Summit on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

    With this lineup, the 26th TGMA promises to be one of the most memorable editions yet.
