Media personality and entertainment pundit Ola Michael has observed that the way Counsellor Charlotte Oduro handled situations in her marriage suggests the possibility of unresolved childhood trauma.
In a discussion on United Showbiz on February 15, 2025, Ola Michael emphasised that Charlotte Oduro was unable to address the trauma she experienced in her childhood and questioned whether her husband was aware of these issues but believed he could change her.
“I am one of the few who never paid attention to what she was saying until the issue came up. From all that I have gathered, it seems she had a troubled beginning at home. Maybe she started with a very difficult upbringing. Also, I want to find out if the man knew the kind of woman he was marrying and decided to change her.
“You can’t change someone who has not unveiled themselves to be changed. The counsellor couldn’t deal with some things she went through during her childhood, and that has affected her marriage,” he said.
Ola Michael further stated that the couple could have ended the marriage after Counsellor Oduro’s repeated instances of packing out whenever issues came up.
He said, at that point, they could have just sat down and ended things amicably, rather than allowing the situation to escalate.
“If you watch some of her videos, you will notice she mostly leaves the home when there is an issue. She shouldn’t have returned after that. We don’t do that… When they noticed the marriage wasn’t working, she could have sat the man down and talked about how the two couldn’t stay together. From there, they could have dissolved the marriage amicably,” he added.
