Legendary Ghanaian footballer, Charles Taylor has cautioned Asante Kotoko players to be wary of the manner in which they flirt with women after matches.

According to him, it has become a norm at the club where some players are spotted engaging with women immediately after games.

However, he believes the act does not augur well for the players, as it affects them psychologically, causing them to lose concentration, adding that this could impact their performances.

Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, the former Kotoko player advised the team to desist from such unprofessional attitudes and focus on football.

“Kotoko players like taking pictures with ladies after games too much. That’s why they easily lose concentration. They don’t care about the environment. You see them taking photos with women even after defeat, hands around them, hugging them and smiling.

“Any serious professional will avoid women after matches to prevent distractions and drama. But they simply don’t care. You will see them with ladies with big, big buttocks,” Charles Taylor added in Twi.

This development comes as tension grows in the Kotoko dressing room amid inconsistent performances, with the team trailing league leaders Medeama SC by six points.

After failing to win their last two matches, the Porcupine Warriors currently sit fourth on the league table with 31 points.

This has increased pressure on head coach Karim Zito, whose future is on the line as board members deliberate on his future.
