A man has been arrested and rushed to hospital with facial injuries following a disturbance at Sydney’s busiest train station.

Police were called to Central Station in the CBD shortly after 12.30pm on Thursday following reports a male passenger had become aggressive on board a train.

He was arrested and rushed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, a NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail.

No charges have yet been laid.

A NSW Ambulance spokesperson confirmed that a ‘drug-affected’ male patient suffered a facial injury, including what appeared to be a laceration.

It’s unclear how he sustained the injuries.

Emergency responders left the scene shortly after 2pm.

    No further details are available.
