A car drove into a group of people in Berlin this afternoon, injuring several including ‘many children’, German newspaper Bild reported.
The incident occurred around 1:10pm local time on Seestraße, a street in Berlin-Wedding, to the northwest of the city centre.
Several children at the scene were left slightly injured. A caregiver was seriously injured, Bild added.
Multiple emergency vehicles, including at least three ambulances, were pictured at the scene in photographs circulating German media.
German emergency services said the crash was an accident.
