On February 27, 2025, the Cape Coast Youth Development Association will proudly celebrate its 15th anniversary, marking a decade and a half of dedicated service to the youth of Cape Coast. As part of the festivities, the association has planned a special celebration with the students of St. Monica’s Basic School, where they will share a birthday cake and spread joy.

In addition to the cake-sharing ceremony, the association will also distribute exercise books to selected basic schools across the Cape Coast Metropolis. This generous initiative is proudly sponsored by Dr. James Condua Orleans-Lindsay, a renowned philanthropist and business leader.

Dr. Orleans-Lindsay, Executive Chairman of JL Properties Ltd., First Chancellor of Cape Coast Technical University, and Chief Patron of the Cape Coast Youth Development Association, has been a long-time supporter of the association’s mission to empower the youth of Cape Coast. His commitment to education and youth development has made a significant impact on the community, and his sponsorship of this initiative is a testament to his ongoing dedication.

The Cape Coast Youth Development Association’s 15th-anniversary celebration is a significant milestone, marking a decade and a half of tireless efforts to support the youth of Cape Coast. The association’s work has had a profound impact on the community, and this celebration is a fitting tribute to their dedication and commitment.
