Ghanaian sensation Caleb Yirenkyi has been adjudged FC Nordsjaelland Player of the Year for the just-ended 2025/26 season following his impressive performances throughout the campaign.

The versatile midfielder enjoyed a breakthrough season with the Danish side, establishing himself as one of the team’s most consistent performers in midfield.

Yirenkyi made 29 appearances across competitions, scoring two goals and providing six assists in an outstanding campaign for Nordsjaelland.

The 20-year-old was officially presented with the Player of the Year award before Nordsjaelland’s clash against FC Midtjylland over the weekend.

Special recognition was also given to AL Sydbank for sponsoring and presenting the award to the talented midfielder.

Yirenkyi’s rapid development and consistent performances have already placed him on the radar of several clubs in Europe.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate is strongly expected to make the Black Stars squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
