    In 2025, banks will start crediting employees’ accounts on dates announced by the Controller and Accountants-Generals’ Department (CAGD).

    An official announcement announced that the following dates will be used in 2025 for the payment of salaries and wages to civil servants, Ghana Education Service (GES) personnel, and all other public servants by the Controller and Accountants-Generals’ Department:

    January – 22nd

    February – 20th

    March – 20th

    April – 23rd

    May – 22nd

    June – 25th

    July – 24th

    August – 25th

    September – 25th

    October – 23rd

    November – 24th

    December – 18th

    According to CAGD, “The banks will begin crediting employees’ accounts on the dates specified above.

    “Any changes to these dates will be promptly communicated to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies and respective banks,” CAGD added.
