The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed “Born Winners” as the official slogan for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Morocco from July 5 to 26.

The unveiling was done on July 1, 2025.

According to CAF, the slogan “Born Winners” is a tribute to African women’s resilience, leadership, and achievement spirit, honouring them as a driving force in football and beyond.

“Born Winners’ is more than a slogan it’s a statement of identity. African women lead the game as players, coaches, officials, fans and media pioneers, breaking barriers and inspiring future generations,” CAF said in a press release issued on July 1.

“The tournament’s message celebrates women’s instinctive drive to overcome obstacles and pursue excellence, both on and off the pitch,” CAF added.

CAF’s announcement comes with fitting recognition for some of the most influential names in the game, including Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala, Michelle Alozie, and team captain Rasheedat Ajibade.
