Cabfix Ladies FC extended support to fellow clubs in the Greater Accra Regional Football Association Women’s Division One League by donating 16 boxes of sanitary pads during the Women’s FA Cup balloting held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Centre.

The donation was made from the sanitary pads recently received by Cabfix Ladies FC under the government’s period free policy initiative, demonstrating the club’s commitment to solidarity, welfare, and the collective development of women’s football in the region.

The presentation on behalf of Cabfix Ladies FC was made by the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Jerod Kabu, together with the Welfare Officer, Madam Aku-Sika Kpene.

The FA Cup balloting was held alongside the GARFA Leagues Stakeholders Meeting, which also served as a review of the first round of the league season. The meeting brought together stakeholders from across the region, including representatives of GARFA Division Two Men’s League teams.

The event was attended by key executives of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, led by Chairman Samuel Aboabire, with support from Vice Chairman Gabriel Godwin Kwao, alongside other Executive Council members.

The distribution of the sanitary pads to the Women’s Division One clubs was coordinated by the leadership of the Women’s Division One League Committee. The exercise was led by the Chairperson, Cleopatra Nsiah Nketiah, together with the Vice Chairman, Alhaji A.K.M. Oliver.

The Greater Accra Women’s Division One League is made up of sixteen teams divided into two zones.

Zone A consists of G.R.A Ladies, Immigration Ladies, Ridge City Women, Teshie Constant, El Wonders Ladies, Ideal Ladies, Besiktas Ladies, and Starlets Ladies.

Zone B comprises Sissamba Ladies, Cabfix Ladies, Faith Ladies, Rock Ladies, Epiphany Next Gen, Blessed Ladies, Accra Christ Angels, and Royal Galaxy Ladies.

The gesture by Cabfix Ladies FC was warmly received and highlights the growing spirit of cooperation among women’s football clubs, as well as the importance of menstrual health support in ensuring that players are able to participate fully and confidently in the game
