The burial arrangement for late gospel musician Omije Ojumi has been cancelled.
Her colleague, Lanre Alewilese, announced the development in an Instagram post.
Speaking on behalf of the planning committee, Alewilese cited the ongoing crisis within the singer’s family as a major reason for the cancellation.
“This is to inform you that all burial plans for our late sister and colleague, Bunmi Akinnaanu, have been CANCELLED over issues arising within her family. We’re deeply sorry for the inconveniences,” Alewilese said.
DAILY POST recalls that the committee had earlier announced that the deceased would be laid to rest on Wednesday, January 20, 2026.
