    Bulls RLFC coach Aminu adjudged Best Coach at RLFG 2025 Awards

    The Head Coach of Bulls RLFC, Nasiru Aminu, has been voted as the Best Coach of the Season, capping a remarkable year of success and influence.

    The former Bulls RLFC player guided the club to another Men’s 13s Championship title during the just-ended season, extending their dominance and reinforcing his reputation as one of Ghana’s most effective rugby league coaches.

    His impact stretched beyond club rugby, as he served as Assistant Coach of the men’s national team at the maiden Tri-Nation Festival and led the Giwa-McNeil side to Origins Cup glory.

    For his reward, Coach Aminu received a night stay at Grandstar Hotel, a plaque, and an undisclosed monetary prize.

    Marshall Nortey was voted as the Best Male Official, reflecting his continued leadership in technical development and referee education within the Rugby League Federation Ghana.

    Jacqueline Ansah took home the Best Female Official award in recognition of her consistency, authority, and historic rise as one of Africa’s leading female match officials.

    Panthers’ Adam Marsuu won the Best Male Back and Player of the Tournament honours, receiving a sneaker from HalidSneaks, while Grace Nketia of Pentecost SHS (Skolars) took home the Best Female Back following her impressive rise through youth and national ranks.

    Usman Abugri of Dragons and Mariama Musah of Panthers won the Best Male Forward and Best Female Forward, respectively.

    Riddick Alibah of Skolars was adjudged the Best Captain for his leadership skills, while Christian Ndwine of Aduman SHS (Tigers) and Godfred Akwei of Panthers were voted the Best Female and Male Rookies in recognition of the youth development agenda of the Rugby League Federation Ghana (RLFG).

    The Nungua Tigers duo of Gideon Klugey and Kofi Montchon picked up the awards for Highest Try Scorer and Highest Kick Convertor, with Accra Panthers RLFC going home with the Most Improved Team and the Best Team of the 2025 season.
