NPP flagbearer hopeful Dr Bryan Acheampong, on Sunday, June 22, 2025, delivered a rousing address at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Chairmen Caucus Conference, energizing the party’s grassroots base with a bold call for unity and a clear ambition to lead the NPP back to power.

During his engagement, Dr Acheampong left no room for doubt about his intentions.

“I’m not here to test the waters. I’m here for power,” he declared, drawing loud cheers and applause from the crowd.

Dr Acheampong traced his journey within the NPP, from his early days as a grassroots canvasser to becoming a Member of Parliament and a former Minister of State.

He emphasised that his track record demonstrates his unwavering commitment to the party and his readiness to lead.

“I have walked the path, I have served, and I have built. I am ready to take this party to victory in 2028,” he said.

Throughout the event, several constituency chairmen applauded and openly endorsed Dr Acheampong’s vision.

Dr Acheampong, who currently serves as the Member of Parliament for Abetifi, emphasised that unity is essential for the party’s success.

He further acknowledged that bringing the party together is crucial in the journey ahead, stressing that only through collective effort can the NPP position itself strongly for victory in the 2028 elections.
