This past Friday night, Boxlab Promotions, in association with Undisputed Promotions, delivered a thrilling evening of world-class boxing action at the luxurious Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, with its stacked “Night of Champions” fight card. Broadcast live on BXNGTV, the event featured the return of Cuban sensation Kevin Brown, the continued upsurge of lightweight prospect Kaipo Gallegos, a devastating performance from Luis “King Kong” Ortiz, and a showcase of rising stars and seasoned warriors from across the globe.

In the 10-round main event, Kevin Brown (8-0, 3 KOs) of Las Vegas by way of Camagüey, Cuba, successfully defended his WBA Continental North American title, dominating Mexico’s Juan Meza Angulo (9-3, 6 KOs) with skillful footwork and precise combinations. Brown, who is co-promoted with Warriors Boxing, controlled the pace from the opening bell, landing clean power shots while deftly avoiding Angulo’s pressure. Angulo showed grit and heart, pushing forward through the fire, but Brown’s technical prowess proved too much. Judges scored the bout 100-90 (twice) and 99-91, all in favor of Brown, who remains undefeated.

In the co-main event, lightweight prospect Antraveous Ingram (12-0, 6 KOs) added another highlight to his résumé, stopping Jeremiah Robinson (8-7, 8 KOs) in round 2. Ingram dropped Robinson with a crushing overhand right in the first round, then followed up with a brutal barrage in the second, forcing the referee to step in at 1:42 of the round.

Heavyweight contender and former world title challenger Luis “King Kong” Ortiz (35-3, 29 KOs) reminded fans of his power, needing less than two minutes to dispatch Phillip Penson (8-5-3, 2 KOs) via first-round TKO. The bout was stopped at 1:53 after Ortiz landed a barrage of unanswered shots, marking a triumphant return to the ring.

Undefeated lightweight Kaipo Gallegos (10-0-1, 8 KOs) delivered a clinical body attack to stop veteran Alberto Mercado (17-9-1, 4 KOs). Gallegos dropped Mercado twice with vicious liver shots, and after two punishing rounds, Mercado’s corner wisely called a halt before the third round began.

“This was one of our best cards yet,” said Amaury Piedra, President of Boxlab Promotions. “Caribe Royale is the hottest boxing venue on the East Coast and continues to be the launchpad for tomorrow’s world champions and a stage for today’s stars. We saw warriors, rising contenders, and legends in one unforgettable night. From Kevin Brown’s masterclass to Luis Ortiz’s knockout return, fans got everything they came for—and more. We’re proud to continue bringing world-class boxing to Orlando and building the future of the sport.”

    Undercard Results:

Roberto Gomez (8-0, 3 KOs) defeated Sharone Carter (14-14-1, 3 KOs) – 6 Rounds, Featherweight.

Pan American Gold and AIBA Gold Winner Ronny Alvarez (4-0, 3 KOs) defeated Ryan Adams (11-11-1, 7 KOs) – 6 Rounds Super Middleweight
