At the highly anticipated launch of the Ghana Music Xperience held in Accra on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, gospel musician Broda Sammy found himself in the middle of an unexpected incident involving the Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The controversial entertainer became the center of a spectacle when he attempted to get closer to the Vice President, only to be stopped abruptly by Dr. Bawumia’s security detail.
The event has a lot of notable industry players, political figures, and music enthusiasts.
As the event was going on, Dr. Bawumia decided to dance when a particular song played which got the energy of a lot of the guests electrified.
While the vice president was on the dance floor, Broda Sammy, who had been enjoying from a distance, decided to get closer to the political figure.

However, Broda Sammy’s excitement was short-lived.
Just as he approached the Vice President, one of Dr. Bawumia’s vigilant bodyguards quickly intercepted him.
The security guard’s stern voice echoed through the room, halting Broda Sammy in his tracks.
Realizing he had attracted unwanted attention and likely to avoid further embarrassment, Broda Sammy backed off.
