    A shocking incident unfolded at the premises of Angel FM Accra in the early hours of today, Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

    From a video we have chanced on, the station’s CEO, one Mr. Opare, allegedly brought in masked men to stop workers from performing their duties.

    The scene was captured in a live Facebook video by popular Angel FM presenter and mid-morning show host, Ohemaa Woyeje.

    In the video, a group of men, some wearing masks could be seen confronting staff members and preventing them from getting into the office building.

    Ohemaa Woyeje, whose voice was heard, narrated the situation to her followers, claiming that the masked individuals were there at the behest of Mr. Opare to forcibly prevent the staff from working.

    She emphasized that this was a threat to the workers’ security.

    During her live broadcast, renowned sports journalist and current host of Angel FM’s social-political morning show, Sadick Adams, also known as “Sports Obama,” intervened.

    He was heard pleading with Ohemaa to end the live session, likely in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. Following his appeal, Ohemaa reluctantly stopped the stream.

    The motive behind the CEO’s drastic actions remains unclear, and the station’s management has yet to issue an official statement addressing the incident.
