WBC#14 OPBF and Japanese national welterweight champ Jin Sasaki (22-2-1, 19 KOs), 146.75, impressively demolished WBO Asia Pacific ruler David Ssemujju (9-2-1, 5 KOs), 146.75, at 0:58 of the sixth round to unify three regional belts on Monday in Hachioji city, Tokyo, Japan. Having been flattened by Brian Norman Jr. with a single left hook in June last year, Sasaki scored three victories with two inside the distance since. Jin, a free-swinging stylist, caught the Japan-based Ugandan with a looping left hook to deck him in the second, and once more in the fatal sixth to have David counted out by the ref Iida. Sasaki had his hometown audience into a frenzy with his whirlwind style.
