This Saturday, August 29, 2026, the UFC will return to Shanghai for the second consecutive year and the third time overall, with an event at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center ( Indoor Stadium seating 18,000) headlined by a 135-pound bout between Russia’s Umar Nurmagomedov and China’s Song Yadong.
The event will feature fights with fighters from Asia and the ANZAC region.
In 2026, the UFC scheduled 44 events across four continents following its seven-year agreement with Paramount+.
