Red Owl Boxing has announced that it will head to Philadelphia with a star-studded live television event at The 2300 Arena on Friday, Nov. 13.

Tickets for “Red Owl Boxing Presents Boxfest XXII” are on sale at 2300Arena.com.

The event will be headlined by the return of undefeated, 24-year-old sensation, Angel “Sharpie” Perez (11-0-1, 8 KO’s), who will battle Wesley “El Bongocero” Ferrer (18-2-1, 8 KO’s) in an eight-round, super lightweight (140 pounds) contest.

Perez’s twin brother, Antonio “Bam Bam” Perez (11-1, 5 KO’s) will see action in a featured, eight-round lightweight (135 pounds) bout against Eric Basran (8-1, 3 KO’s).

“The Perez brothers are two of the hottest up-and-coming prospects in the sport of boxing, but we are going to see what they are truly made of when they are put to the test by real opposition in Wesley Ferrer and Eric Basran,” said Greg Bloom, CEO of Red Owl Boxing.

Fighting out of his hometown of Harrisburg, Pa., Angel, an astute boxer-puncher who has been boxing since the age of 11 and went on to compete in 80 amateur fights and earn multiple national championships under amateur status, will look for his third consecutive victory in the ring after taking a unanimous decision over Derrick Murray on May 29.

Angel’s opponent, Ferrer, is a 34-year-old Brooklyn, N.Y. native who has faced several battle-tested contenders, a fact that helped Ferrer secure his best victory to date – a split decision win over a previously undefeated, Giovanni Marquez, the son of boxing legend Raul Marquez – on September 20, 2025.

Also fighting out of Harrisburg, Antonio is an elusive counterpuncher, and a former World Boxing Council (WBC) international champion and former WBC Central American Professional Boxing Federation (FECARBOX) champion.

The 27-year-old Basran of Montreal, Quebec, Canada is a former, four-time Canadian national amateur champion who made his best stand to date as a professional after being one of only 16 fighters in his weight class selected to compete in the WBC “Grand Prix” tournament in Saudia Arabia last year.

In his first fight at the Grand Prix tournament – the round of 32 – Basran defeated American Isaiah Johnson by way of split decision on April 18, 2025, before losing in the event’s round of 16.

Additional fights for the “Red Owl Boxing Presents Boxfest XXII” event will be announced soon.

The ‘Boxfest XXII’ main card will stream live on DAZN, beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and the preliminary bout card will stream live on Red Owl Boxing’s YouTube channel, beginning at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
