World-ranked Japanese knockout artist WBA #2 WBO #3 WBC #5 IBF #5 Mikito “Manos de Acero” Nakano will continue his promotional partnership with All Star Boxing, Inc. and Teiken Promotions as he prepares to return to the United States in November.
Nakano has compiled an impressive professional record of 15 victories, one loss and 14 wins by knockout. The hard-hitting southpaw originally joined All Star Boxing in 2021 through an agreement with Teiken Promotions designed to provide him with opportunities to develop his career and compete before audiences in the United States.
He made an impressive American debut on May 4, 2025, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, scoring a fourth-round technical knockout over Pedro Marquez Medina on the undercard of Naoya Inoue’s world-title defense. The victory introduced American boxing fans to the explosive punching power that earned Nakano the nickname “Manos de Acero”—Iron Fist.
After suffering the first defeat of his professional career against world-class contender Ra’eese Aleem in an IBF featherweight eliminator, Nakano returned in impressive fashion on May 6, 2026, stopping highly regarded South African contender Lerato Dlamini in the fourth round in Tokyo.
