“Fighter’s Heaven in Art” Premier Exhibition

As part of the “Special 10th Anniversary Celebration: Fighter’s Heaven in Art and Literature”, fine artist Mark Dickens will unveil “Fighter’s Heaven in Art”, a new collection of 12 mixed-media painting created in collaboration with Ali’s legendary training camp Fighter’s Heaven in Deer Lake, PA, Ali’s daughter Khaliah, and photographer Jeff Julian. The unique artworks celebrate the life, influence, and enduring legacy of Muhammad Ali through expressive imagery, layered textures, and handwritten text.
Integral to the series are 45 original handwritten quotations contributed by leading voices from the world of boxing and beyond, including to name a few: Sugar Ray Leonard, Ruben Olivares, Tim Witherspoon, Thomas Hauser, Jim Lampley, Ray “Boom Boom’ Mancini, Jonathan Eig, ‘Iceman’ John Scully and Lou DiBella. These personal reflections and tributes add a rare historical and emotional dimension to the collection, transforming the works into both artistic statements and archival documents celebrating Ali’s extraordinary global impact. We are excited that Jim Lampley, Tim Witherspoon, and many others who provided written quotes will be in attendance.
Mark Dickens is a British fine artist whose work can be found in the Royal collections of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and also private-public collections around the world, including the new Guggenheim Museum, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He has been the official artist for Formula 1 commissioned by Bernie Ecclestone and has completed other large projects such as “Ferrari in Art” and “World Champions in Art” series of 32 paintings purchased by Sebastian Vettel. His mixed media artwork consists of layer upon layer of photography, paint, resin, fabric and gold leaf, integral to his work are handwritten quotes incorporated in the artwork along with images and ephemera.
