A Blue Jays fan was seen attacking a patron at a McDonald’s in downtown Toronto hours after the American League champions dropped Game 7 of the World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Caryma Sa’d, an attorney and online activist, captured the footage at a Toronto McDonald’s around 2am, she told the DailyMail via email.

The clip shows a man in a Blue Jays jacket eyeing another patron at the McDonald’s. Then, seemingly without any provocation, the jacketed Blue Jays fan thrust his left elbow into the other man’s hands, sending his cell phone falling to the ground.

The targeted man responded by saying something unclear, which nonetheless enraged the man in the Blue Jays jacket.

‘What did you say to me?’ the antagonist said, slurring his speech as he shoved the other man against the wall.

With the Blue Jays fan’s hands on his collar, the other man calmly explained that he, too, roots for the team. He then added that a camera was capturing the entire scene, which didn’t seem to register with the Blue Jays fan.

‘I don’t give a s*** about a camera,’ the man in the Blue Jays jacket said.

Ultimately McDonald’s staff was able to separate the two and walk the jacketed Blue Jays fan outside.

Although Sa’d didn’t want to engage the angry man out of safety concerns, she decided to film him to preserve evidence of he belligerent encounter.

As she told Daily Mail, Sa’d witnessed the man in the Blue Jays jacket approaching diners and accusing them of looking at him the wrong way.

This McDonald’s location was one of only a few establishments open in the early morning hours after the Dodgers’ extra-innings Game 7 victory. As Sa’d told the Daily Mail, many people were stranded downtown due to transit shortages.

The Daily Mail has reached out Toronto police for further information.
