Black Stars and LA Galaxy winger Joseph Paintsil
Black Stars and LA Galaxy winger Joseph Paintsil has announced the release of his debut EP, Emergency, set to drop on April 4, 2025.
The seven-track EP marks Paintsil’s official entry into the music scene as he continues to explore his passion for music.
The project features two guest artists—Ghanaian hip-hop star Kweku Flick and French DJ and artist Joekay.
The former KRC Genk player has always had a deep love for music and is thrilled to share his creativity with the world.
“I’m happy to share my music with everyone. Football will always be my first love, but I also have a passion for music, which I enjoy in my free time. I worked on this EP while I was out injured—sometimes boredom would set in after training. I hope people enjoy it,” he said.
Emergency blends multiple genres, showcasing Paintsil’s unique voice and style. The songs on the EP are Blessings, Nobody, Rejoice Monalisa, Fine Like You, Higher (ft. Kweku Flick), Merci Beaucoup (ft. Kweku Flick and Joekay).
