Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo is expected to field a strong lineup for the game against Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on October 8, 2025.

Otto Addo will present his best team to face Central African Republic because a victory at the Stade D’Honneur de Meknes, in Meknes, Morocco will secure Ghana’s automatic qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

With most of the players in top form for their respective clubs, the selection will be tough.

Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare is expected to start in goal as the current Black Stars number one goalkeeper.

In defense, Alexander Djiku and Mohammed Salisu will play in the center-back positions to solidify the backline.

Gideon Mensah will maintain his position on the left side of defense but Alidu Seidu will come in for Caleb Yirenkyi at the right side of Ghana’s back line.

Villarreal’s Thomas Partey and Kwasi Sibo, who plays for Real Oviedo, will play in the double pivot and central defensive areas to support the attack and shield the defense.

Leicester City’s Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, in-form Premier League players Kudus Mohammed and Antoine Semenyo will form the front three behind the striker.

Captain Jordan Ayew is expected to start as the lone striker in attack, leading the team’s attacking prowess.

Otto Addo is expected to play a 4-2-3-1 formation as he looks to play an attacking game and secure an emphatic win to boast his team’s chances of qualification.

Below is the predicted starting XI:

Benjamin Asare, Alidu Seidu, Mohammed Salisu, Alexander Djiku, Gideon Mensah, Thomas Partey, Kwasi Sibo, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Kudus Mohammed, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew.
