Ernest Nuamah
Nuamah has begun his recovery process after being sidelined for about ten months due to an injury sustained.
The Olympique Lyonnais forward suffered an ACL injury during a game, which required surgery.
Following the successful procedure, he has started rehabilitation and resumed ball work on the training ground as he aims to regain full fitness.
Daniel Kofi Kyereh
Reports on January 22, 2026, confirmed that midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh has resumed full-scale training with German side Freiburg after nearly three years of battling an ACL injury.
Since suffering the injury in 2023, the midfielder struggled to regain fitness as the problem repeatedly recurred.
After undergoing surgery and completing rehabilitation in 2024, his recovery was further delayed by setbacks that kept him out for extended periods.
Through consistent recovery and training, Kyereh has now regained full fitness and trained with the team throughout their session on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. He is expected to rejoin the squad.
Due to his injury setbacks, the Ghanaian midfielder has been limited to just 18 appearances for the Black Stars and will hope to catch the eyes of the technical team ahead of the World Cup.
Tariq Lamptey
The right back is close to making a return to full action after five months on the sidelines.
Lamptey has been out since September 2025 after suffering an ACL injury in just his second game for Fiorentina.
Lamptey missed several matches, including World Cup qualifiers.
However, in his latest post on social media, the defender shared updates on his progress, showing himself in the gym continuing rehabilitation.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion right-back is expected to make his full comeback by late February 2026.
